At the Torino Film Lab annual Meeting Event, the 2022 APostLab post-production award was given to the film The Sweet Bitterness of Ripe Pomegranates and producer Elena Stanisheva.
According to the jury: ‘This beautiful and sensitive film project is in the hands of a daredevil new talent team, who are eager to learn how post-production can best serve the telling of their story. The production will certainly benefit from the creative post-production services from Filmmore and Posta to achieve the creative ambitions.’
The award offers a scholarship to the producer for the participation in the APostLab annual post-production workshop, and for the project a € 10.000 grant in creative post-production services at the Filmmore facilities and another € 10,000 to be spent at the Posta sound studio, both in Amsterdam.
