APostLab offers training and workshops to producers and post-production supervisors with the aim of increasing understanding and appreciation of post-production management. With 10 years of training experience, and an international pool of experts and trainers, APostLab helps film professionals advance their skills in managing post of internationally co-produced feature films and series.
The APostLab Annual Workshop is a 6-day residential, project-based training that involves plenary sessions, group work, and individual consultation with trainers. During this intensive training participants get a better understanding of the technical, financial, and creative aspects of post-production with a focus on the challenges of the international co-production environment.
The workshop provides a unique opportunity for producers and post-production supervisors to work closely together, and based on the training’s carefully designed curriculum and with the help of internationally acclaimed industry professionals, jointly develop post-budgets and schedules tailor-made for the producers’ projects.
The Annual Workshop is open for:
- Producers with an internationally co-produced feature film or TV-series in the stage of development, financing or pre-production, and
- post-production supervisors working independently or at a post-facility or production company
The maximum number of participants is 24.
The workshop is conducted in English.
